The other day a friend of mine and I were talking about Isopropyl Alcohol and I said “Isopropyl Alcohol is made from wood right?” My friend said “it seems to me if my memory serves me that Isopropyl alcohol comes from a process of mixing propane and water together”. So we googled “how to make isopropyl alcohol?” and sure enough google agreed with my friend that Isopropyl alcohol is made from a process of mixing water and propane with a bunch of heat. It makes me happy to learn about the world that is why we have “What’s In It Wednesday” on occasion that I learn something worth sharing.
