The next time anyone including me is angry with me I am going to do my best to witness the fear behind the frustration.  Could the person be afraid of losing something?  Could the person be scared of being wrong?  Is it possible that if I  perceive the anger with an open heart that I will feel the fear so that I am able to have compassion for whomever is upset with me?  
I have decided that anger is not an emotion to be scared of it is an emotion that needs to be loved.  I patiently listen to the fear of the angry person.  My goal is to stay connected to my heart even if I am being yelled at.  Being calm is always a choice I can make.  Allowing the fear and anger being projected at me to flow right on through me and out of me increases my chances of being joyous. I feel empowered realizing that joy trumps fear.    
I use my powerful imagination to visualize the angry person as if they were a small child throwing a temper tantrum which creates in every cell of my being a feeling of compassion.  It is my goal to exist as if I am a wise spiritual being capable of looking at anger with love and kindness in my heart.  I accept that anger can be a friend, I listen to with my all heart.  My heart then transforms my anger into wholehearted love.
I am a faithful child of Universal Love and Universal Love feels safe when I am capable of befriending my anger.
