Embracing My Pain Affirmation

My plan for today is to befriend my pain.  I am choosing to look at the pain in my life as my teacher.  If my body is ever in discomfort that is my body asking for my attention.  If I have a headache I could be dehydrated.  If I have a stomachache maybe I am nervous about something.  In case my heartaches I trust that by breathing love and gratitude into my heart that my heart is healing.  
If something I am doing is making me uncomfortable then maybe I need to find something where I am enjoying my time.  Each moment of my life is precious even the painful moments.  As I get to know my fears I am able to comfort my fears in healthy and constructive ways.  I share my fears & pain with my trusted friends and I learn that they too are scared of something.  Somehow I feel relieved that having pain and fears is just a human trait that everyone has.  
My heart expands so that I am able to love my most painful experiences.  I explore my pain with love in my heart and I feel safe.  I allow calmness to enter my heart and every cell of my body relaxes.  Each moment of the day is an opportunity to breathe love into my pain.  I cherish my pain.  I allow my suffering to flow through me effortlessly like electricity flows through gold.
I am a persistent child of Universal Love & Universal Love knows pain is my friend and my best teacher.
