Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, am a stand for the harvest. To collect what nature provides with and without the help of man. In the spring I collect nettles, then summer brings blackberries and rose hips, now apples, kale. pears, squash, beets, cabbage, mushrooms and many, many more foods and crops. I have been harvesting blackberries and apples since I was nine that is for 39 years now (wow I can hardly believe that). Harvesting food keeps me in tune with nature and the outside world. I value being outside I even picked apples yesterday in the rain as I was warm from the play of picking. The abundance of nature shows me that to give abundantly is natural, normal and what is necessary for all species to thrive. So today I live my life as an apple tree grounded, generous and gentle. Thank you for stopping by my page. Thank you for sharing your smiles and hearts with me. I Love You.
Today I am grateful for having an apple picking party yesterday, Lorraine MacDonald, Darlene, Chris Koehn, son of Chris’ Rainer, and me we picked about three hundred pounds of apples from a beautiful apple tree that gave to us abundantly as Chris and Lorraine are going to make Hard Cider and it takes 100 pounds for the batch size they need, for getting to go to dinner last night at Sarah Wilson‘s home (I made the first apple crisp of the fall and everybody loved it even Jasmine) and for the new friends we made as I had never met the people who owned the apple tree before. (As I was picking apples at a friends home and spied in the neighbours yard a big apple tree loaded with apples that needed picking so I got their phone number gave them a call and they were grateful the apples would be used and enjoyed.) The abundance of nature is awesome. Thank you for your precious time. Thank you for sharing your brave soul with me. I Love You. ♥ :~)
