Today’a Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) choose to bring an attitude of hope, contentment and acceptance to all I do, creating an atmosphere of peace and calmness. “Calmness of mind is the most beautiful jewel of wisdom” wrote James Allen in the classic book “As A Man Thinketh” and since I read that I have been striving for inner calmness and peace of mind. My earthly experience is totally effected by my perception of it. So I practice being proactive about my perceptions, creating a good story for all the events of my life (eventually) and reading books that inspire me and my heart to strive for goodness, hope and faith in myself and my fellow human beings. I believe that since all of the cells of my body can seem to get along and all humans are made of cells that somehow, someday that all humans can be able to get along and see that all other humans are necessary as are all the different and diverse cells of my body. I believe that I am the hundredth monkey of happiness and by holding happy, positive and accepting thoughts I am creating a wave of love that goes out to the ends of the Universe effecting the hearts of all beings on my planet along the way.
Today I am grateful for listening to my own words, thoughts and feelings so that when I express myself I do so with forethought, compassion and acceptance, for understanding that words once spoken from an emotional state are usually not the words I want to say as they are fueled by a reactive emotional state instead of a proactive emotional state and for believing that my emotions are such powerful tools that I want to channel my emotions, deeply honour my emotions, and give much thought to my emotions so that when I express my emotions I do so in a manner that I am consciously choosing instead of unconsciously choosing. Thank you for this moment you spent with me. Thank you for sharing your emotions with me as they are precious, powerful and perfect. I Love You! ♥ :~)
