Affirmation, Gratitude and Family

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) remember that I always have a choice about how I am in every situation. That how I am is the most important aspect of my life and the only aspect I have any hope of controlling. That the more I feel good the more good I draw to me like a magnet for good. I start my day in gratitude and end it with appreciation for all I have received. I choose to be thankful for everything embracing each moment with a sense of adventure and delight knowing that all is well in my world as long as I choose to love. The more I love the better I feel. The more I exude love willingly the more love comes back in from all directions toward me and I feel safe. I feel safest when I love, have faith and remain focused on where I am going.
Today I am grateful for getting a new keyboard from our friend Teri Young as she had an extra one, because I poured coffee into Robert Cerins keyboard on Boxing Day morning and broke it :~/, that when something gets broken in our home there is only feelings of sadness that something broke and thoughts of how do I fix this (no one is in trouble just because something broke as then we would have two problems the broken thing and the upsetness about the broken thing) and for having a relationship where the emotional state of the humans involved is more important than items in the physical world. Thank you for your meaningful time. Thank you for sharing your sweet self with me. I Love You. ♥ :~)

This is a traditional Potato Ball dinner with salt pork. To make these in my family was a special day, extended family gathered, cooperated in the creating of the meal and then we sat, ate and talked.

An image of a potato ball and some salt pork. A potato ball is a family recipe that we make for special occassions.
This is a traditional Norwegian lunch created in my family for many generations. I made this for my mom with a recipe from her mother.
