Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) trust that my life is a gift bestowed upon me to be shared to the best of my ability with the people that are on the planet with me now. I choose that while I am on the planet this time, I want to make friends first, to trust that everyone on the planet is human, is going to make mistakes as I do, is going to make messes just like me, may need help sometimes and they may not be able to always do what they say, just as I over book myself on occasion. The more gentle I am with me when I make a boo boo the more patient I am with everyone in my life when they make boo boos. I practice expanding my heart by embracing the pain and pleasure associated with having a body and I feel empowered. Thank you for your lovely smiles. Today I am grateful for getting to go to a Holiday Party where the mom Lucy Hylkema creates with friends the most amazing gingerbread houses about 40 of them (they even have windows made of melted lifesavers) for children of all ages (even children as old as me) can decorate them with all the candy possible, (the heaviest one last night was 3 kilos) while the parents chat, for having my six senses, so that I may savour the sweetness of all the beauty of this world, as I can hear the birds sing, see a fiery sunrise, smell my morning coffee, taste rich dark chocolate, touch the textures of this physical plane and feel with my heart what you feel with your heart, and for embracing all the wonderful Holiday traditions celebrated by people the world over, as it is always fun to have a party.
