Affirmation, Gratitude and Sustainability

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) do my best to care for the planet today by eating local organic food from farmers I know, trust and love. I go and pay for bio-diesel at the office of Cowichan Bio-Diesel Coop where I get to see Alannah Klopper then I go to pump the #biodiesel at Cowichan Petroleum Services, it feels great when there is an oil spill and I am burning bio-diesel. My commitment to having a small footprint even reaches into my daily washroom experience where I wash my entire body with a wash cloth covered in Dr. Bronners peppermint soap that leaves my skin all tingly, then I just rinse out the cloth in the bathroom sink, saving about 15 to 25 litres of water a day six days a week then on the day seven I take a bath or shower. I am capable of making choices that benefit myself and the planet at the same time.  Thank you for caring for our planet today. I Love You.  :~)

Buying the fuel for my car from Cowichan Bio-diesel Coop is healthier for me, all bicyclists and the planet too. :~_

Today I am grateful for being able to donate a ponytail, to be made into a wig for children with cancer #hairdonation as yesterday when my friend Susan Murray came over for dinner, she cut my hair off in a ponytail, which helps me with my goal of cheering up the planet, (as some child hopefully will feel happier with a new wig) for getting to clean up the outside of our home today in the continuing progress of readying the house for sale as there is a bit of wood and recycling to tidy and for having a savvy husband Robert Cerins who picked out three new skirts for me (that fit perfectly, I might add LOL) the other day when we went shopping he found me a black velvet #LizClaiborne above the knee skirt, a long royal blue wool skirt made in Canada by #JoideVivre and a long brown skirt that will keep me warm in the winter, all at the local #SalvationArmyThriftStore in Duncan, BC one of my favourite places to shop. Thank you for the time you were with me today. Thank you for letting me know your favourite Thrift Store. I Love You.  :~)
