Affirmation, Gratitude and Stormy Weather

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) have a chance today to enjoy the storms of my life as well as the smooth sailing. When I allow my inner spiritual guru to be in charge of my emotions and thoughts it is easy for me to calm. I remember to breathe in slow rhythmic inhalations and exhalations which increases my oxytocin, dopamine and serotonin allowing me to feel composed. My inner spiritual guru knows it is within my powers to bring calmness to every situation I am in because I am a spiritual being having a human experience. At the times when I stay focused on the little child inside of each grown up I meet, it makes accepting their personal idiosyncrasies way easier. The gift of accepting other peoples foibles is that it helps me accept my own foibles easier too. Thank you for being a part of my life. Thank you for accepting yourself today. I Love YOU.  :~)

Witnessing the inner child and inner guru help me live an enjoyable life. :~) Blessings,

Today I am grateful for driving by the Cowichan River on the way home from Duncan, BC today and seeing the river running high and fast with lots of water, then I imagined the salmon and other river creatures gratitude dancing because of all the water, for getting to stay home today from the Duncan Farmers Market and create earrings instead of market them, as it was raining so much and we were a bit concerned that the wind driven rain might ruin some of the cards the earrings are displayed on and for getting to go by Robert Cerins parents home to check up on them, to make sure they are doing good with all this storm talk going on and as usual his parents were doing great with Robert’s father in the kitchen making homemade crab cakes from crab caught about 15 minutes away. Thank you for spending a few moments with me. Thank you for checking in on your loved ones. I Love YOU.  :~)

The Cowichan River flowing strong, my heart is full of gratitude that the fish are being nourished by the rains. :~)
