Affirmation, Gratitude and DIY Toothpaste

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) am inspired to open my heart to the full range of human emotions embracing each emotion as valuable and important. As I was growing up I choose to go through life silently wanting to make my mom and dad happy was my most important job. My family was a quiet type of family that would not even say poo with a mouthful. I did not even have the words necessary to grieve my father when he died, as I was only fifteen. Now that I am an adult I realize that the most important person to make happy is me. I have found the best way to create my inner happiness is to express my emotions to my husband and close friends in constructive and creative ways. I share my emotions with the trusted people in my life who understand me and accept me just the way I am. I am nourished by their listening, their attention and their care.
Today I am grateful for Robert Cerins making some of the DIY toothpaste from the recipe that was going around facebook, it rocks, I love it (Robert made it with organic coconut oil, baking soda and organic peppermint oil from Genie In A Bottle (Genie Eugene) my mouth feels clean and soft when I am done brushing my teeth with it and nothing to throw away when we are done just refill the jar), for getting home from work yesterday to the smells of a yummy dinner all cooked and ready to eat (Robert is an amazing chef) and for the dehydrator running next to me heating the office while at the same time creating the yummy smell of fruit drying. I love the fall harvest time. Thank you for the priceless time you spent with me today. Thank you for sharing your wise words and ideas with me. I Love You. ♥ :~)

Playing Out My Emotions is a painting Robert Cerins created to represent the importance to listening and sharing our emotions in a constructive manner. :~)
