Affirmation, Gratitude and Laughter

Today’s Affirmation; I, Stephanie, (insert your name here if you like) love to be proactive in my journey to health and happiness. As a child I witnessed my mother change her diet for a year and become free of the effects of the arthritis that plagued her, then because of family pressure she went back to the standard american diet and her symptoms returned. The lesson I learned from that experience is “I am really what I eat” so I have been proactive in my search to be healthy and right now I am 48.75 years young, healthy, and calm in heart. So far what I have found is that when I stay away from gluten, dairy and eggs my skin is clear and I feel energized. When I think loving, helpful thoughts that are constructive feelings of empowerment surge through my cells. When I laugh I feel my ventromedial prefrontal cortex produce endorphins, which causes my body to heal, soothes my heart and uplifts everyone who hears my loud and contagious laugh. Thank you for laughing at yourself today. Thank you for sharing your joy with me. I Love You. :~)

Today I am grateful for honing my ability to be patient every time I get to be in a line (I shall create a conversation with the person behind me as a distraction), on hold (I sing along with the music) or when I am cheering up the planet, as it takes time to cheer up 7 billion people (I visualize all seven billion of them happy every day) as there are always ways to turn waiting into calm expecting, for the apples that are ripening on the trees just about ready to be picked, turned into cider vinegar, then enjoyed and for Robert Cerins art opening this weekend at Inspire Shawnigan Art Gallery it shall be a feast for the senses. Thank you for joining in my journey to happiness. Thank you for sharing your emotions with me. I Love You.  :~)
